“Suss your sugar, live your life”
Sky-rocket your energy and
live the life you really want.
The 8 week online group coaching programme that shows you how to ditch the fatigue and reconnect to your energy, joy and vitality. So you can live the life you truly want.
The next programme starts September 2019
What is it all about?
Do you want more energy? Do you want to feel fabulous? Do you want to improve your mood?
Then you are in the right place! This 8 week online coaching programme which will help kick-start your energy, shift your mindset, and reconnect you to your health and vitality.
Together we are going to work through some of the key pieces which will give you more energy and vibrancy.
- We are going to nurture our bodies with beautiful food and super hydration, so that we support our energy, support our wellbeing, and can feel positive and powerful about the choices we make.
- We will learn about how our bodies work and how it wants to be looked after so it can look after you.
- We will look at a new way of eating, that is all about letting go of sugar and putting all the good stuff back into play.
- It’s a sugar detox with a difference: we don’t go cold turkey, we don’t starve and we don’t punish our bodies.
- We will look at emotional eating, carb cravings and the role of stress.
- We are going to look at how we can set ourselves up for success and get clear on the mindsets that stop us, that get in the way, and cause self-sabotage
- We are going to look at how to make changes successfully so we don’t get overwhelmed but can feel proud of our progress and enjoy the journey.
The aim is for you to get more energy, get the pleasure back into your life, connect to what really lights you up, and start living your life with vitality and joy.
So you feel like you are you again. So that you can shine your light again. So that you can feel proud of yourself. And so that you can show up in the world and make the difference only you can make.
So who is it for?
I’m sure you recognise this: the alarm goes off, and you hit snooze. And again. And again. You’re exhausted. These days you just seem to be permanently tired. Even when you’ve had your 8 hours sleep, you get up feeling rubbish . You feel stiff and achy and you think “I shouldn’t feel like this at my age”. You look in the mirror and think ‘I look terrible’. Maybe you have even stopped looking.
You dread the day ahead. Its feels like the battle has already been lost before it has even begun. There’s such a long list of stuff to do. Get the kids ready for school, do the school run, get to work, deal with your annoying boss who just doesn’t get it, fill in that job application so you can get out of your horrible job but you just can’t quite face it, go home, pick up some bits and pieces for supper, make supper, and then get everything sorted for the next day.
Life is just one big ‘to do’ list. Its like a hamster wheel and you just want it all to stop and go away.
And you think I can’t go on like this. I’ve got to do something.
You’re tired of being tired. You hardly recognise yourself. Where did that 20 year old go, who was so alive, so buzzing, so excited about life? What happened?
Can you relate to this? I know I can!
So let me paint you another picture:
- Imagine you wake up every morning feel amazing, with tonnes of energy
- You jump out of bed in the morning, feeling light, healthy and happy. Not an ache in sight.
- You are excited about the day ahead.
- Even after a full day at work, you still have the energy to enjoy your evening, and your weekends and you can plan ahead without fear that you’ll be too tired.
- You have the energy to do the things you love: go rock climbing, go dancing, ride horses and go fast, take amazing photographs, ace your job, enjoy challenges instead of dreading them.
- And when you look in the mirror, you see a body you are proud of.
- You are free from cravings and can eat foods that you love with confidence
- You love your life
- You are passionately productive
- People love to be around you because your energy joy and zest for life are so infectious.
- You make a difference because you are being true to who you really are.
Isn’t that more like it? Isn’t that what makes life great? So you can be more of you? The REAL you?
Just imagine what would become possible if you could have this kind of energy RIGHT NOW.

What if I cant cook?
Basic cooking is a life skill, so if you haven’t already learnt, this is a good time to get to grips with the basics. The recipes are kept simple but flavoursome, adn none of them need a degree in cordon blue cooking, I promise you.
I am not a group person.
Even though we are in a group, all taking the journey together, you have to take part within the group, although I strongly recommend that you do. You might be surprised. We are all so used to having to ‘slog it out alone’. The boost we get from the support is, in my opinion, one of the best things about this programme.
I am too shy to be in a group.
Even though we are in a group, all taking the journey together, you have the choice of being visible or hiding! Either way you will get the benefit of the group energy, as people start to see the changes and get results. But we are all different: and you can do what works best for you.
Im not very good with computers.
If you can open an email, you can do this course!
Will it be expensive?
The aim is to create a practical sustainable way of eating, so I do advice to buy the best quality you can afford, but it is more important to eg eat vegetables than not eat them because you cant afford organic.
What if I don’t have time?
many of us experience the pressure of time, and sometimes we have to prioritise: whats more important? Getting your health back on track or keep running around until your health goes downhill and forces you to stop?
What if I don’t get results?
This is a coaching programme so the results you get will depend a lot on what you put in.
Is it safe?
Basically yes but if you have any doubts, then print off the outline of the programme and run it by your doctor.
I am diabetic/sick/take lots of medications.
This programme is not a substitute for personalised medical care, so you need to make sure that you are fit to take part in the programme
Detoxes don’t really work do they?
The key pitfalls with detoxes are that they can create ‘hyper focused’ behaviour around food, and afterwards when you stop doing the detox there can be a rebound effect. This is why this programme is not a detox but a nutritional reset to put you in touch with healthy eating habits, and we do the rpogarmme over 8 weeks, so we have plenty of time to put the new practices into place.
Hopefully the FAQ’s will have put your mind at rest. But if you are still not sure, then I can tell you that its quite normal to be apprehensive, to be worried and or even to be slightly scared of signing up.
A project like this is about making a start, taking those first steps with support and guidance. And not having to do it all by yourself. Its having the structure in place that can give you the confidence to take your health to the next level. And it is being witnessed by a group of people who want exactly the same thing you do!
But just to help you get even more excited about what we will be working on, here is a weekly guide.
What happens week by week?
Each week you will receive a workbook and teaching videos by email. These are for you to work on at your own pace for that week… You can always revisit material from previous weeks as well. There is also a live Q&A session each week, where we will talk about anything that you are stuck with or want to go through.
Week1: ‘Start where you are’
We focus on super hydration and why it is essential for high energy living. We look at the hidden sources of sugar in our drinks. Is caffeine good or bad? And what about artificial sweeteners? We take a look at mindsets that stand in the way of your success. And we start to create the new vision for your health and your future.
Week 2: It’s not your fault!
We look at emotional eating, sugar cravings and carbs addiction. We look at the nature of stress and how stress can make us fat. And why sleep is great medicine. We will explore the nature of addiction. And how to do ‘Self-talk’ without looking like you are losing it!
Week 3: Good carbs , bad carbs.
We take a close look at the nature of carbohydrates and which ones are good for us. We look at wholegrain vs wholemeal vs processed foods. And we will explore the nature of motivation and get clear on what motivates you.
Week 4: How to re-invent breakfast
Is breakfast really the most important meal of the day? We look at breakfast options that will kick start your energy to the day, not drain it. And we will do some work on sharpening up your motivation.
Week 5: Let’s talk insulin
What it is, the role it plays in your body and why it is one of the biggest energy drainers. We will also look at the habits of ‘people pleasing’ and why ‘being good’ isn’t always good for your health.
Week 6: Let’s eat more!
That’s right. You will probably start to eat more food at this stage as you continue to layer in the strategies and techniques you have learnt. We will also be looking at the power of self-care and how this can really boost your well-being.
Week 7: What about lunch and dinner?
Now we really start to build on your new knowledge and insights to create food that works for you, your lifestyle and your choices. Empowerment is the name of the game.
Week 8: Your roadmap to success
We pull it all together by planning your roadmap to success. We will talk about goals with soul, how to keep track of your progress and what your own personal trip-up points are. The abundance mindset. And how to plan for you own future.
So I hope that you are as excited as I am about ‘Suss your Sugar, Live your Life’ and that you are all ready to go.
Let’s kickstart that energy!
The next SSLL programme will start in autumn 2019!
